You have more time than money. Use it.
At the start of building a business, we typically have more time than money. Use it.
Don’t rush to hire a business coach who promises to help you earn 6 figures in 6 weeks…and when you don’t get that, you’re frustrated and disappointed
Devote some time to learn your trade & hone your skills. Become a real expert at what you do.
And then go learn some marketing — it’s actually okay to tell people about your work.
The problem I see is that people want to throw money at everything. We hate putting in the time it takes to create something new.
It’s our conditioning in today’s society. Everything is at the tip of your finger.
Uber, Netflix, fast food, etc. We can get all of those things just by opening an app on the phone & placing an order.
And so we think that’s how business and everything else in life is meant to work.
We want to throw some money into our business & have it return a huge interest for us in no time at all.
Well breaking news, that’s not real life. Building a good business takes time.
Whether it’s figuring out your niche, creating products and services that are truly helpful to your ideal clients, building relationships with the market & others in your industry — all of it will take some time.
So I invite you to slow down a bit in order to speed up.
Focus on building strong foundations for your business…and you’ll reap the long-term benefits years and years to come.
