If you work for yourself, then the following is why you need to exercise every day.
Whether you describe yourself as a solopreneur, life coach, business owner, freelancer, or whatever else; the name does not matter right now.
The most important thing is that you are your own boss and you work for yourself — most likely from your home.
If that’s the case, here’s why you need to have a daily workout routine for your exercise.
Relationship between exercise and business.
1). Energy: Exercise supplies the physical energy and ability you need to achieve your goals.
By working out daily (even lightly); you position your body to operate at 100% capacity. This is absolutely crucial for you to effectively run your business.
If you are always low on energy and finding it hard to get moving on your tasks, exercise might just be what you need.
2). Confidence: Exercise doesn’t just make you feel good; it also makes you look good.
Even though appearance is not everything, it does indeed affect how you see yourself. Or at least, it affects how you think others see you.
And this self-esteem can make or break you in business.
If you have confidence in yourself, you’re better able to express yourself and communicate clearly with clients.
Your level of confidence will also play a big role in how you present your offers when you need to sell your services.
And so, start exercising today for a better self-esteem and self-confidence.
3). Discipline: A daily workout makes you practice self-discipline; which is an essential part of every success story in business.
This is because for you to exercise everyday, you’d need to create schedules and achieve certain weekly or monthly goals.
These are all healthy habits that can be directly transferred to your business.
It’s often said that the way you do one thing is the way you do everything. Well, that couldn’t be any truer for exercise and business.
*** Surprise yourself; live a life of No Excuses. ***
✔ Don’t have a gym membership? I don’t either. I do all my workouts at home.
✔ It’s winter & so cold outside? I exercise indoors.
✔ You’re so busy and there’s no time? I spend less than 15 minutes a day. You definitely have 15 minutes somewhere in your 24 hours. You just need to find where you kept it.
✔ Not interested in a “perfect body”? Well, neither am I. I simply do light exercises to keep fit, healthy, and disciplined.
✔ Don’t have the equipment to exercise indoors? None needed.
✔ ETC… The list goes on and on.
If you’re looking for excuses, there’s a thousand and one of them.
But ask yourself: Is it really true that there’s absolutely nothing you can do about those apparent limitations?
We’ve not met, but I can bet that 70% of the excuses you present are probably just what they are — excuses.
If you can do this for yourself, you’ll be able to do much more for your business.
And this simply means that you’re giving yourself the best opportunity to grow and thrive in your business.
What are you waiting for? Start improving your business today by working on your body. It only takes 10-15 minutes a day.
I’ve not done my workout routine for today; and so I’m going right now!
