I once had a client who heard about Collaborations as a potential source of getting new clients for her business.
She became so fascinated by the idea that she immediately decided that was the best marketing strategy for her.
And so we go ahead to map out a plan, find relevant contacts in her space, and ask her to start contacting them for potential collaborations.
Over the course of 4 days, she sent a grand total of just 6 outreach emails, trying to initiate a conversation with these people.
When she did not hear back from any of them, she came back to me and said: “It’s not working for me, perhaps collaborations don’t work for my industry”.
And she stopped sending the emails.
