I don’t know how this started; but it seems working a regular 9-5 job is now an abomination.
Almost everybody wants to be self-employed.
Usually, the common reason people give is that they want the freedom that comes with not having a boss.
Freedom to set their own calendar, wake up whenever, travel wherever, work from the beach, etc.
Some other people claim they’re not motivated by money; that they just want to help by creating a business with a bigger impact in people’s lives.
While all of that sounds good, there’s a problem: Most people who start a business are not prepared for it.
